Chris Head is a husband, father, grandfather, and business owner, who lives in Botetourt County and owns a senior care business in Roanoke along with Betsy, his wife of 34 years. Chris and Betsy are the proud parents of three adult children and in 2021, they became grandparents.

Together, Chris and Betsy own Home Instead in Roanoke and Lynchburg, a company that provides in-home care to senior adults. Their business focuses on keeping families together and helping loved ones live independently. Thousands of families have trusted and depended on Chris and Betsy with their loved ones.

Chris has represented the 17th District in the Virginia House of Delegate since 2012 and currently serves as Vice Chair of the House Committee on Health, Welfare, and Institutions. He also serves on the committees on Commerce and Energy, Privileges and Elections, and Rules, and chairs several subcommittees. Chris also serves as Co-Chair of Virginia’s Small Business Commission.

Throughout his tenure in the House of Delegates, Chris has been a stalwart defender of the unborn, protector of the Second Amendment, and champion for limited government. As your state senator, Chris will continue to be a strong conservative voice for traditional Virginia values in Richmond.
